Different Skin Types

Are you unsure of your skin type?


Here are the 4 main skin types so you can determine which is right for you:

Normal Skin: You have normal skin if you have a well-balanced complexion with no major issues. You should maintain a basic skincare routine, including cleansing, toning, moisturising & applying sunscreen. You can also incorporate exfoliations 1-2 times a week to keep your skin soft, youthful, and smooth. 

Dry Skin: If you have dry skin you tend to have a dull & flaky complexion. You should use a gentle hydrating cleanser such as our Pro-Collagen Cream Cleanser with Grapefruit, Lavender & Frankincense & avoid hot showers, which can strip the skin of natural oils. You should also consider using Hyaluronic Acid to help attract & retain moisture in the skin.

Oily Skin: You have oily skin if you tend to have a shiny, greasy complexion & are often prone to acne. Use a Gel Cleanser & Toner and avoid heavy, oily moisturisers. We advise to also use a Clay Mask twice a week to draw out unwanted oils leaving your skin balanced and clear.

Combination Skin: Combination skin tends to mean having an oily T-Zone (forehead, nose & chin) and dry or normal skin on the cheeks. Using a mild Cleanser & Toner followed by a moisturiser can help sooth your face. Make sure to add oil-free products & spot treatments on the T-Zone.
